Hi, I’m James and this is my website.

Prior to setting up this site I was a product manager at Vodafone in the UK where I was responsible for 3G broadband.  During my time at Vodafone, I launched the first 3G broadband service in the UK, the first USB dongle and even the first netbook with built-in mobile broadband.  I spent much of my time watching and responding to the changing 3G broadband market – from launching new devices and technologies through to designing new price plans in response to increasing competition.

I left Vodafone in January 2009 to follow my passion for travel.  I spent 8 months travelling in Asia with a backpack and a 3G broadband netbook and now I live in Beijing, China where amongst other things I run this website.

This site has been designed to help you to get your iPad up and running with a 3G connection.  You’ll find information about the different mobile phone networks, a selection of useful guides and even user reviews.
